On June 16, 2008, we were blessed with the addition to our family of a beautiful baby boy we named Connor Ray Cunningham. Over the past 7 months he has delivered us all kinds of surprises. Surprises like taking 8 minute naps, hating car rides, loving to go on walks, finding comfort in the soft vibrations of the dryer, eating like there will be no more food when he wants it again, giggling at Daisy, riding in his boat (a laundry hamper with a rope attached), falling asleep only while being bounced, swaddled, shushed, and patted on the butt, splashing in the bathtub, smiling at his Mom and Dad, growing inches to 29 inches long, gaining 11 lbs to 20 lbs, rolling over at 3 months, army crawling at 6 months, admiring mylar balloons his Grandma Gail brings him, watching OSU football with his Uncle Troy, napping with his Uncle Will, hiking with Grandpa Frank, going for strolls in the city with his Aunt Erica, getting spoiled by his Grandpa Rick, showing his Uncle Jim and Aunt Stacie how much fun it is to have a little one to take care of, sleeping with Grandma Betty and learning that no matter what he does everyone seems to love him. It hasn't always been easy, but its always been fun.
