The Snow

We took Connor up to the mountain this weekend with some friends & family to do some sledding. He was super excited about playing in the snow &
getting into his new bigger sled this year with his Dad.
All bundled up and ready to hit the slopes (or small sledding hills that is)!
Here's cousin Sophia...aka the "Movie Star."
She tried sledding, but preferred to just sit and soak up the rays.

Connor & his friend Sienna (aka the "No Hands Dare Devil"). Maybe next year she can teach Connor how to sled down the hill standing up like Uncle Jim & Cousin Scottie!

Just scooping up some snow in our spare time...
Although Connor didn't have any big wipe-outs (thank goodness) there were plenty to go around. Namely for Scottie...I have a hunch he is quite sore today.

The Fire Station

In case you have never taken 10+ two year olds to the fire station to check out the big rigs, here's a taste of what's in store. For starters, there is literally NO WAY they will all pose for a picture at the same time. Our child would not even go into the picture area without his mom.
Connor did love "Lucy Ladder" and "Pat Pumper" but not enough to actually climb inside. I think what he really liked the best was the sticker at the end and the plastic fireman's hat.

Maybe we should teach him some Fire Marshal Bill lines? Umm...on second thought, that doesn't seem very age appropriate.

TWINS

Growing Up Cunningham is expanding exponentially (and so am I)! We are not just having one new baby around these parts...but TWO. Identical Twin Girls. Every time I go see the doctor, I have to call Connor's Dad to tell him "Yep, the doctor still claims there are TWO babies in there!"

Connor is so far pretty excited about this news (but he has no idea what is about to come his way). After we told him the news, he repeatedly asks as I am arriving home from work each day, "Mama, did you bring my two babies home yet?" Nope, thankfully NOT. YET. He also likes to rub the babies, give them kisses, and will occasionally say, "I love them." The other day I was reading Connor a book about two baby foxes. Connor told me, "That one is Connor Fox and that one is Connor's Twin Fox." Then I had to break the news to him that he was not going to be a twin. I am not sure yet how that is going to go over.
