Mohawk

Tonight, Connor got his first "bath mohawk" which he obviously loved.
He finally has enough hair (almost!) to throw up in this stylish do...
...on second thought, I think it looks more like an "Alfalfa-hawk":

A Fan

If Connor's life was documented as life is on Facebook, then he would be a "fan" of the following...
1) ELMO.
Connor loves Elmo in any form...
on TV, in his lap, in a book, in a box, with a fox, etc.#2) The Wearing-Boots-And-Hats-Indoors-Club
(in fact he could be the president of this one)#3) The word "No." Connor likes this word so much that he has multiple versions of it. There is the defiant, quick, and precise "No." There is the joking, "Nooooooooo" and the scared/anxious version, "No, no, no, no" while emphatically shaking his head.

#4) "Pooper" (a.k.a. Cooper as seen here on our sledding trip.) Yesterday we saw a dog just like Cooper at the park, which must have jogged Connor's memory. Later while eating lunch he insisted on holding the picture of "pooper" from our refridge (messy hands and all) while telling me repeatedly that he saw "Pooper, Pooper, Pooper"...a very exciting discovery indeed, my son!

#5) Last but not least, Connor would be Daisy's biggest fan. Especially when HE gets to control the leash (which apparently doesn't happen very often...as this picture had to be dug out of the archives of last September).

When Uncle Will comes to visit...

...things get a tad bit O.C. (Out of Control).
First Uncle Will rigged up this slide/ball pit contraption:Which needed some minor adjustments (pillows) after Connor slid his head right into the roof of the club house (no worries safety police...the club house is just "air" and is obviously totally safe, no matter how you land on it!) Once the contraption was complete, it turned out to be quite the sliding experience...Then he showed Connor how to make funny faces
by smashing your face on the "windows" of the club house...And Connor loved every minute of it!

Dear Internet,

Do you think Uncle Will should be allowed to "supervise" Connor unsupervised???

Reading to "Baby"

While we were all at Bamma & Bampa's (Grandma & Grandpa's) this weekend, Connor crawled up onto the chair lugging his books and asked for "baby" (Cousin Sophia) to join him. She was in the middle of nake-time (naked time) but we obliged anyway... Now, before you start to think that Connor doesn't have a jealous bone in his body with this new baby rollin' around the family...think again. Later that same day, I was holding Sophia on my lap. Connor kept saying "baby" and pointing to the floor where he was playing. I thought that Connor wanted Sophia on the floor to "play," so again I obliged. In 1.5 seconds flat, Connor was sitting squarely in my lap right in the spot the baby had just vacated upon his request. I guess he can only share his mama for limited periods of time...
and TIME. WAS. UP.
