Easter

We figured that Connor was old enough to help dye some easter eggs this year. And By "old enough" we mean that he was strapped into his chair JUST out of reach of the actual dye...

Then, on Easter morning we taught Connor how to "hunt" for Easter eggs. It is apparently super exciting when you are 1 to find eggs which are hidden IN.PLAIN.VIEW.

Then we let Connor help hide the eggs for Daddy. However, he was just so excited for Daddy to find them, that he gave away all the hiding places before his Dad could hunt them out, "Daddy, right there!" "Daddy shoe" etc. When Connor tried to hide the eggs from his Mama, he decided that hiding ALL the eggs in the exact same place (under one couch cushion) would be a really good idea. Then he told me where they were. I tried to act surprised.

Lastly, a picture for you of Connor & his Dad all dressed up before church. As you might recall (if you are a long standing blog reader/fan) that last year Connor only "enjoyed" church for about 20 minutes. Let's just say that after one year he has not shown significant growth in this area:)
