What you doing?

"What you doing?" is one of the girls' new phrases. Here's what they have been doing lately:
1) Talking non-stop. Sometimes Connor even says, "That's enough talking!" because it gets pretty intense at times, especially for the non-female members of our family.
2)  Playing dress-up. This is especially fun in their older brother's clothes.
 ...or his jammies.
3) Counting their own fingers.  Decided against putting Harvard on speed dial though, because sometimes the counting goes,  "One, two, one, two, ONE fingers!"

4) Just hanging out, lookin' cute in their piggy tails.

The Little Wolves

We've got ourselves a Little Wolf this year! They have been practicing hard getting ready for opening day! By "practicing hard" I mean learning that baseball is more than just digging in the dirt. Their coach has whipped them into shape, because he is a super serious sports type (A.K.A. Connor's Dad).

Heading Home #8!

This is Connor's "ready for the ball" pose.
At the end of each 1-hour practice & game, the coach secretly confides that coaching eleven 4 & 5 year olds is an E.X.H.A.U.S.T.I.N.G job. I cheerfully remind him every time that it is a good thing he is not a kindergarten teacher. Although one parent asked me if he was. I guess that means she thought he had some good behavior management skills. Way to go Coach!

A Little Taste of Holland

I know a lot of people who make an annual trip to the local tulip farm this time of year. Each year, I think to myself, it sounds beautiful and all, but seriously, what do ya actually DO there? I mean with three kids?  Well, this year we were invited once again & decided to give it a try. We actually found lots of fun things to try out...
Climbing on Hay Bales (maybe the highlight for the kids!)

Exploring Tulips, and Tulips, and MORE Tulips
The Muddy Cow Train was Connor's fav. The girls cried the entire ride. This is the story of my life.
The older boys got to ride a second shoe train too! The girls cried because they wanted to go. Again, the story of my life.

Pink Tractors!

A little more exploring...

Everyone had to try out these shoes.

All in all, it was a fun day! I think we just might make it an annual trip. Who knew?

Easter Egg Hunting

I am not sure if you are aware or not, but Easter egg hunting can successfully keep 5 children under the age of five successfully occupied for for well over 1 hour. Especially if you are willing to hide eggs over and OVER and OVER again.
Waiting for the Eggs to be hidden in their Sunday best.

And they are off hunting!

It gets especially challenging if eggs are hidden in the hedge...
Cousin Lauren got a basket full!

Connor takes a trip to the Dentist

Now that Connor is almost five, he's an expert at going to the dentist.
Check out our fav dentist, Dr. B hard at work checking out Connor's mouth.

Yea! A clean mouth full of teeth with no cavities. Good brushing Big Brother! He's already been planning on taking his sisters next year and showing them how to climb up in the chair and open wide. Hopefully they like Dr. Bryan as much as we do...

Baby Emma

What do the Cunningham's do when Baby Emma visits?

#1) Surround her. Get as close as possible, so we can really SEE her.
(Side Note: This easy going baby doesn't even flinch to be bombarded by the Cunningham crew!)
#2) Do everything that she does, because she is SO SUPER DUPER intriguing.
#3) Insist that she sit as close as possible to all of us while we eat lunch.
#4) Laugh at every. single. thing. she does, because she is just so cute & hilarious:)
#5) Take her outside to go bike riding, because that's our favorite activity!!! Oh, and if her mom forgets to bring her a sweatshirt, that's no prob because we happen to have one that she can borrow that's Black and Orange. Obviously.
