Mini Foodie

I fear that Connor is growing up to be a Foodie, just like his dad. This, in and of itself, is not a bad thing. I do enjoy good food myself. However, it is just very taxing to have to cook for one Foodie, much less two. The other problem with Foodies is that they usually want amazing high quality food all the time. And, honestly, I just don't have time for that. Connor's dad heard from our neighbor that there was this amazing crop of u-pick peaches only a short 13 miles from our house. So, like any perfectly normal Foodie would do, he requested that his wife and small toddler travel to this location to pick some of this exquisite crop...and make a homemade peach cobbler. No big deal. I think I have all day. So away we went. Connor, the mini foodie, loved every minute of it. Once we had our amazing u-pick box filled with fresh peaches in the car, Connor said, "Mama, dat fun!" Yes, of course it is, my mini Foodie. Here's the proud owner of a box of peaches...

Now before, any good Foodie starts baking, he does a little taste testing. Connor gave the peaches two thumbs up...when we wasn't busy stuffing his cheeks.

He even helped mix the batter. Now, that is better. Every good Foodie should learn to cook for themselves, that way they can be assured they make it just the way they like it.
